Thanks for the mention of Chartio. Based on our experience in the market, choosing the right BI tool depends on the specific use case a company is facing. Are you looking for a tool just for your data analysts? Are you planning to support a centralized data analytics environment with heavy modeling? Are you valuing ease-of-use, speed-to-insights and agility to allow everyone to be able explore and analyze their data? Are you looking for embedded analytics? There is a spectrum of use cases with different characteristics that need to be taken into consideration to help you decide on the right BI tool as well as the other elements of your data stack.

Was surprised Tableau did not make it to the list. Anyways, if we compare Looker, Periscope and Chartio.. The BI tool that is leading is obvious.. It’s Looker. Looker allows you to create SQL commands to run and manipulate data like never before with its inhouse LookML system. We just launched Sengkang Central Residences and we are currently running Looker for it. Was really useful to pull out trends for our insight sales team.
